Edwards, Ronald (Runt) Colen

RONALD (Runt) COLEN EDWARDS, age 77 of Pulaski County, died Tuesday November 9, 2010 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 23, 1933 in Draper, Va, and was the son of the late Alma Quesenberry Edwards and George Arthur Edwards, Sr. He was a retired carpenter, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George A. Edwards, Emmett G. Edwards, and Arnold O. Edwards, and a sister, Lois Clark. He is survived by four daughters; Florinda Garcia, Ramona Evans, of Grandfield, OK, Dianiah Martinez of Los Lunes, NM, and Lisa Reynolds of Pulaski: a son; Jeffery C. Edwards of Grandfield, OK: a sister; Rosalee Hubbard and her husband Gentry of Pulaski. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, and a close friend, Peggy Jones. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday November 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moore Cemetery in Delton with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
