Edwards, Kathryn Harner

Kathryn Ann Harner Edwards, 67, of Barren Springs, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. She was born on March 29, 1944 in Reading, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Mae Ruth Keefer Harner and Charles Harner.

She spent most of her life enjoying work as a clerk in a deli. She was Lutheran by faith and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Auburn, Pa.

She is survived by her loving husband, George H. Edwards, of Barren Springs; a son, Mike G. Edwards and his wife, Beth, of Barren Springs; a daughter, Kelly L. Reimert and her husband, Ronald, of Nitro, W.Va; a brother, Allen Harner, of Reading, Pa.; a sister, Sharon Zaorski and her husband, James, of Reading, Pa. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at their home in Barren Springs on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, from noon until 8 p.m.
