Edwards, Edith Burcham

Edith Burcham Edwards, 85, of Radford, went home to Heaven on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Lee and Garnet Burcham; sister, Opal Burcham; son, Tommy Edwards and granddaughter, Lisa Lynn Edwards. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rudy Edwards; children, Kenny and Linda Edwards, Connie and Guy Wohlford; grandchildren, Angie Edwards, Tara and Mike Grant, Tommy Edwards, Shannon and Terri Wohlford, Neil and Suanne Wohlford; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bertha and Cody Jones, Geri and Jim Monroe; brothers, Clyde and Dorothy Burcham, Ray and Shirley Burcham; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Fairlawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny and Pat Collins officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at the church. Church address is 6758 Oxford Ave, Fairlawn, VA 24141. The interment will be at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to the Fairlawn Baptist Church, where Edith was a faithful member for over 60 years. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
