Edmonds, Mary Beverly
Mary B. Edmonds, 64, of Pulaski, Va., departed this life on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Pulaski Community Hospital, Pulaski, Va., after a long illness.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. She was a former employee of Jefferson Mills and Creation’s by Renee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lewis Edmonds Sr. and her mother, Mary Trueheart. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Loraine (Steve) Brown and Mary Edmonds; a very devoted granddaughter, T.D. (Jesse) Cook; two sons, Joe and Paul Edmonds; two aunts, Hazel Webb and Estelle Crouse; special sisters/cousins, Pam, Junie, Shirley and Babydoll; special brothers-in-law, Wallace and Ted Edmonds; grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Jazz, Steve, Sheena, Jarrod, Aamir, Desmond and Raheem; and a host of great-grandchildren; special family friend, Ebony Finley; one brother, Douglas Wayne Beverly; and a special daughter-in-law, Tamara Edmonds.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at First Baptist Church Magazine Street, Pulaski, Va., with the Reverend William J. Smith Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church Magazine Street. Burial will be at Pinehurst Cemetery.
