Eaves, Tonja Lanee

Tonja Lanee Eaves, age 51, of Radford, VA transitioned to her heavenly rest and reward on March 1, 2021. Tonja was born in Detroit, MI on October 15, 1969, to Sonia Marie Eaves and Ralph E. Brooks. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John M. and Pauline M. Eaves; paternal grandfather, William Brooks; 3 uncles and 1 aunt.

Tonja worked at the Lynchburg Foundry and other jobs throughout her lifetime before failing health issues disabled her.

Those left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of love and sharing are her daughter, Tionha Marie Eaves; mother, Sonia Marie Eaves; father, Ralph (Debbie) Brooks; sisters, Sharemba (Chelle) Bacon and Yashika Brooks; paternal grandmother, Louise Brooks; 5 aunts, Gertrude, Pauline (Walter), Shirley, Margaret, and Gladys; 4 uncles, William, Larry, Carl and extra special uncle, Charles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and best friends, Stephanie Thornton, Tammy Dishon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10:30 – 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church located at 2006 Preston Street in Radford, VA; immediately following the funeral at 11 a.m. with Reverend Brent Strouf, Eulogist. Funeral service will conclude at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA.
