Lisa Dawn Eaves, 35, of Wake Forest, Va., went to be with the lord Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Lisa was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 7, 1971 to June Harris who also preceded her in death. Lisa was a member of Wake Forest Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and soulmate, Curtis A. Eaves of Wake Forest; six children, Najmah Harris, Sterling Harrison, Kyieli Ward, Destiny Gravely, Josette Gravely, and Jaseph Gravely, all of Christiansburg; one stepdaughter, Ashley Smith of Wake Forest; stepfather, Keith Backus of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Joy Harris and Natalie Harris, both of Columbia, Maryland; mother-in-law, Linda Eaves of Wake Forest; sister-in-law, Stacy Eaves of Wake Forest; a very special uncle and coffee buddy, William (Uncle Mike) Eaves; aunt, Virginia (Thomas) Milton; uncle Henry (Benzena) Eaves; a good friend, Donese King and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 18, 2006 at 12 noon in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Arnold Jones and the Rev. Hiawatha Spraggins officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lisa’s name in c/o McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. Friends may call anytime after 10 a.m. Monday, and the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
