Eaves, Jr., William Christmas

William Christmas Eaves, Jr, of Wake Forest, earned his angel wings February 23, 2016. Born March 24, 1943 to the late William Christmas Eaves SR and Thelma Jones Eaves. He is preceded in death by brother Henry “Fat Daddy” Eaves.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Karen Eaves, life partner Evelyn Young, sisters Louise (Thomas) Milton and Linda Eaves, sister-in-law Benzena Eaves, aunt Lillian Jones, nieces and nephew Denise Cartwright, Diane Barden, Brenda Culfee, Shelia Jones and Bruce Milton, and special niece and nephew Stacy Eaves and Curtis Eaves. “Children” Angela Woodard, Wallace King, Sidra Jones and Annetta Watson. “Grandchildren” Kesha Paige, Taylon Jessie, Trenee Jessie and Zaylee Brown, Godson Raymond King, JR. Several great nieces, nephews and cousins and all the Wake Forest Community.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arnold Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time Saturday prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
