Eaves, Jacqueline Lewis

Jacqueline Iris Lewis Eaves of Blacksburg, born January 15, 1947 in Radford VA to Walter and Myrtle Lewis., passed Thursday, February 2, 2017.

She was a lifelong and faithful member of St. Paul AME Church Blacksburg VA where she held many offices and served on many boards. Jackie also held many offices for the Virginia Annual Conferences and was a life member of the Virginia Missionary Society. Jackie was a dedicated and lifetime member of Christiansburg Alumni Association where she had served as President for the last 20 years. Jackie also retired from Virginia Tech as Supervisor.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Karen Eaves Blacksburg VA, parents Walter and Myrtle Lewis Blacksburg VA, sister Marilyn Saunders (Paul) Fairborn OH, Vera Worthy (Richard) New Castle DE, Shelia Bradshaw (Harold) Lakewood Ranch FL. Brothers Walter Lewis Jr (Bobbi) Antioch TN, James Lewis (Linda) Milwaukee WI. Aunt Catherine Delany Radford VA. Special Children and Grandchildren. Corina Clark, Patra Clark, Regina Wingo, Sidra Jones, Angela Woodard, Annetta Watson, Stacy Eaves, Taylon Jessie, Zaylee Brown and Zion Chinnery. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive Thursday February 9th from 6-8 funeral services will be held Friday February 10th at 1pm all services will take place at First Baptist Church Radford, VA 555 West Rock Rd. Internment at the Lewis Family Cemetery Fairlawn VA. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, VA.
