Eaton, Edith Hurst

Edith Hurst Eaton, 85, of Pulaski, passed away Thursday, evening in the LewisGale Hospital, Pulaski. She was born July 30, 1929, in North Fork, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Trussie Carnell and Arthur Thomas Hurst. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Hurst; and sisters, Emma Carnell and Helen Grantham. Mrs. Eaton had worked as a bookkeeper for Huff Coal and Oil and was a former employee of the Jewel Box and Crown Jewelers.Surviving is her husband, Jay Darnell Eaton; son and daughter-in-Law, Rick and Tammy Eaton; grandchildren, Misty and Christina; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday November 3, 2014, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm at the Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
