Eastridge, Rosa Juanita

Rosa Juanita Eastridge, 72 , of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2005, at her home with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.

She was born in Bradshaw, W.Va. on February 12, 1933 to the late Earnest Webster and Pauline Harpp McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Swanson Dale Eastridge; stepmother Eva Bouldin; and a special friend, Charlie Lyon. She was a longtime member of Bible Holiness Church, Christiansburg.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arthur C. and Maxine Kestner, of Gowen, Michigan; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Swanson Dale, Jr. and Mildred Eastridge, of Atkins, Va., Thomas and Trudy Eastridge, of Fairlawn, John Alan Eastridge, of Atkins, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law, Ottie Mae and Mike Turnmyre, of Dublin, Carol Haga, of Pulaski; stepsister and brother-in-law, Christine and Charlie Mullins, of Narrows; stepbrother, Roger Bouldin; grandchildren, Cory Kestner and wife, Sara, Gentry Kestner; step grandchildren, William Eastridge, Samatha Vires, and David Eastridge; and many close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Bible Holiness Church with the Rev. Homer D. Sawyer, and Rev. Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Friends may call anytime after 4 p.m. Friday at the Bible Holiness Church and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Bible Holiness Church, 611 South Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Va. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
