Eastridge, Billy Gene

Billy Gene Eastridge, 65, of Dublin, passed away on October 27, 2015. Billy was born on May 6, 1950 to the late Paul William and Hester Hurst Eastridge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 9 1/2 years, Sandra Kay Eastridge; his brother, Johnny (Beverly) Eastridge of Georgia; his children, Melissa (James) Macon, Michael (Casey) Eastridge, Donna (Jeff) Macon, Sissy (Russell) Eastridge, Amanda Eastridge, Joshua Eastridge, Christina (Dakota) Decosta, and Christopher Eastridge; his stepchildren, Teresa and Jimmy Sheets; fourteen grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.

Billy was a skilled carpenter of over 35 years – working mostly with the Bain Construction Company. He was a veteran on the United States Army. Billy was a great man and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing and working with his hands – he was truly a skilled woodworker

Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. with service following Monday, November 2, 2015, at Devilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va., with the Reverend Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow at a later date and will be private. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford, VA is in charge of arrangements. 540-639-2422.
