East, Warren Junior

Warren Junior East, age 90 of Pulaski, died Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke. He was born on November 28, 1928 in Snowville, and was the son of the late Viola Thornton East and Harvey P. East.

Pvt. East served in the United States Army during the Korean War in the 82nd Airborne Division. He and his late wife Coleen, attended the Pulaski Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife; Coleen Iris Covey East: his brothers; Berman J. East, and Sherman Lee East, and a sister, Virginia Mae East.

Warren is survived by a niece; Viola Kress, along with great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from Noon until 2:00 p.m.
