East, Stephen Eirby

Stephen Eirby “Rollie Pollie” East, 51, of 4585 State Park Road, Dublin, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 20, 2005 in the New River Valley Medical Center, Radford.

He was born in Radford on Aug. 26, 1954 and was the son of the late Eirby Garfield East. He was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Stephen East.

He was a member of the New Life Harvest, Radford. He was an employee of Southland Transport.

Surviving are: his wife, Sheila East, Dublin; mother, Margaret Taylor East, Dublin; daughter, Amanda Darlene East, Avon, Colorado.; sons, Stephen Eirby East II, Dublin, William Russell East, Dublin, Johnathan Daniel East, Dublin; sisters, Catherine East Lytton, Radford, Alice East Dobbins, Pulaski; brothers, Raymond Edward East, Dublin, Delmer Ray East, Dublin; father-in-law, Byrd William Richardson, Dublin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; a very special church family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the New Life Harvest, Radford .with Rev. Dallas Vines and Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Friday evening from Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski, Va.
