Earp, Unus Fuller (Doc)

Unus Fuller (Doc) Earp, 98, of Blacksburg, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Imperial Plaza Assisted Living, Richmond. Mr. Earp was born in Danville, VA. on January 25, 1915 to the late Henry and Nora Earp. He was a retired professor in Agriculture Engineering at Virginia Tech. He was a member of the Blacksburg United Methodist Church. He is survived by his brother, Curt Earp and sister, Barbara Demnisky of Danville, VA. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Nanlee and Rusty Edwards, of Fairfax, VA, Betsy and Don Daidone, of Sevierville, TN; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Edwards and wife Vanessa, Peter Edwards and fiance Meghan, Christina Robertson and husband Brian, Eric Phipps and wife Kelly, Stephanie Austin and husband, Jeff, Giovanni Daidon, Maria Daidone and husband Luke; eleven great-grandchildren, Austin Condon, Cameron Edwards, Allison and Madison, Aubree Robertson, Carter, Jackson, Nathan, and Savannah Phipps, Kaitlyn and Brandon Austin. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reggie Tuck officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Saturday evening in the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
