Early, Linda McPherson

Linda McPherson Early, age 81, of Christiansburg, died Friday, December 29, 2023, at Lewis Gale Medical Center. She was born in Montgomery County, Va., on July 23, 1942, to the late John Hampton and Perlee Mae Sarver McPherson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Early.

She is survived by her, daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Alan Wilburn, Dianna and James McDaniel, and Roberta and Randy Harris; grandchildren, Robert (Tammy) Wilburn, Matthew (Tara) Reynolds, and Toby Early; great-grandchildren, Lane and Wade Reynolds; brother and sister-in-law, June and Doris McPherson; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Smith, Louise and Thomas Mayo, and Mary Flannery; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M. before the service.
