Earles, Rena Scaggs
Sharon Rena Earles, age 72, of Christiansburg died Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her home. She was born in Montgomery Co., Va. on September 10, 1950, to the late Cecil Edgar and Hazel Cox Scaggs. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Scaggs and Charlie Scaggs; sisters, Darlene Scaggs, Wilma Bower, and Judy Bishop.
She was a member of Blue Ridge Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ginger, and Glenn Loan; grandchildren, Justin, and Adam Loan; several nieces and nephews; BFF, Linda Shepherd.
Special thanks to her neighborhood family at Nugget Ridge and Medi Home Hospice, for their love and care throughout Rena’s illness.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2022. At 11:00 A.M. In the McCoy Funeral Chapel, with the Pastor Scott Obenchain officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Friday, October 28, 2022, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, Va.

My deepest condolences to the family. Rena was one of the sweetest neighbors and friends I could have been blessed to know and have. I’m gonna miss our talks under the shade tree on the sidewalk. Much love and prayers.🙏
