Eanes, Dora Sowers

Dora Beatrice Sowers Eanes, 92, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Proceeding her in death were husband, Frank Eanes and grandson, Mike Eanes.

Frank and Beatrice were members of Abundant Life Fellowship, in Pilot, where they owned and operated a country store. They also owned the Robo Car Wash, in Christiansburg.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Helen Eanes, Kenneth and Mary Ann Eanes; granddaughter, Robin Keagle; and great granddaughter, Kayla Keagle.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Larry Meadors and the Rev. Leon Alley with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
