Durgin Jr., Robert

Robert Durgin Jr., 53, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Strasburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Durgin Sr.; and grandmother, Susan Leslie. Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Marjarie Durgin; brother, Charlie Durgin and fiancee, Dawn Sweeney; sister, Susan Durgin; his loving girlfriend and companion, Delores Webb; special friends, Chuck and Irene Fossam, Karl Gillispie; second mother, Ruby Dove; a special aunt, Roberta Port, nieces and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Camp Tuk-A-Way, 2262 Craig Creek Road, Blacksburg. Directions: from Blacksburg, take 460 W. turn right on Craig Creek Road (Rt. 621), five miles on Craig Creek from 460, entrance to camp is on the left.
