Dunn, Jean Cumbee

Jean Dunn, age 57, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Carilion Giles Community Hospital, Pearisburg, VA. Born November 4, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Francis Cumbee.

Jean was a homemaker, a beloved companion, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her companion of over 30 years, Steve Dunn; one daughter, Shona Dunn of Narrows, VA; one son, John Dunn of Pembroke, VA; a brother, Ronald Cumbee and wife Kimberly of Pembroke, VA; four sisters, Jennifer Cumbee, Brenda Cumbee, Patricia Donathan and husband Larry, and Rosie Cumbee and husband Al Atkins, all of Pembroke, VA; two grandchildren, Tristan Dunn and Jenny Shrewsberry.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday March 22, 2020, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Harper officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery, Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
