Dunn, Dorothy Danese

Dorothy Danese Dunn, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Heritage Hall Rich Creek Nursing Home in Rich Creek, VA. Born August 13, 1937, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Aaron and Annie Mae Morrison Candler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel H. Dunn; one brother, Robert Candler; and three sisters, Opal Knowles, Alice Stollings, and Lois Parcell. Survivors include one son, Scott Dunn and wife Crystal of Narrows, VA; one daughter, Michele Thompson and husband Gary of Rich Creek, VA; four grandsons, Zack, David, Ben, and Brogan; three great grandchildren, Madison, Aubrey, and Jack; one sister, Jean Wickline and husband Calvin of Brodhead, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services for the immediate family only will be held at the Dunn Cemetery in Peterstown, WV, with Minister Don Henegar officiating.
