Dunn, Cornelia Long

Cornelia Marie Dunn, age 69, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at her home in Bozoo, WV. Born August 9, 1951, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Annie Chambers Long.

Cornelia was a childcare provider at the Kids Learning Center in Peterstown, WV, and she often said it was the best job in the world. She was a member of the Ballard Missionary Baptist Church in Ballard, WV. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn and Virginia; and two brothers, Lewis and Aubrey. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Larry Dunn of Bozoo; one son, Joseph Dunn and wife Misty of Taylorsville, NC; one daughter, Lisa Dunn of Galax, VA; three grandchildren, Justin Willis, Kayla Willis, and Jacob Dunn; three great grandchildren, Jonathin Willis, Natalie Warf, and Aiden Reeves; one brother, Donnie Long; three sisters, Nellie Mills, Louella Fesperman, and Evelyn Willis; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19 and the WV Governor’s Mandate, and out of love and respect for extended family and friends, a private graveside service for the immediate family will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, with Dr. Robert Stockburger officiating.
