Troy Duncan, 89, of Radford, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008, at the New River Valley Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Mattie Young Duncan; his wife, Margaret T. Duncan; and a daughter, Loretta Gay White. He was a retired farmer and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Michael Bishop, Nancy Kay and Junior Lytton, all of Radford, Katherine Marie and Glenn Hall, Roanoke, and Shirley Ann and Paul Hutcherson, Nashville, Tenn.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Ray and Shirley Duncan, of Dublin, and Ricky Wayne Duncan, of Christiansburg; brother, Lincoln Duncan, of Radford; two sisters, Clydie Morris, of Dublin, and Bertha Moore, of Radford; special friend, Melvin Blevins; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford with the Rev. Earnest Fulcher officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
