Duncan, Ruby Wurzburger

Ruby Wurzburger Duncan, 89, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 in a Radford rehabilitation center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. Duncan and two sons. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Gwenda Dobbins Duncan of Glen Allen, a sister, Rosie Smith of Pittsburgh, Pa., along with several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Harless Duncan. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice for their many kind acts and care for Mrs. Duncan.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the DeVilbiss Funeral chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
