Duncan, Ruby Mae Hedge

Ruby Mae Hedge Duncan, 88, of Radford, Va., passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010. She was a member of Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jackson Duncan; and her parents, Anderson Bentley and Ina Mazzie Meredith Hedge. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jackson Bentley and Lynn Duncan, and David Phillips and Anne Duncan, all of Christiansburg; a granddaughter and her husband, Kim Duncan and Steve Wade, of Radford; a step grandson, Derek Oliver, of Christiansburg; two great grandchildren, Jackson Lewis and Shannon Kathleen Wade; and brother-in-law and his wife, Vance and Lena Duncan, of Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Floyd County with Elder Kenneth Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
