Ralph Edward “Tinker” Duncan, 66, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2016 surrounded by his family at his home in Radford. He was born on September 19, 1949.

Tinker was a U. S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was an avid coon hunter.

Tinker was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Duncan. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life his wife of 34 years, Candi Duncan; sons, Phillip Duncan (Becky Branscome) and Dustin and Tenasian Duncan; grandchildren, Eli Duncan and Emma Duncan; mother, Pauline M. Duncan; sisters Becky Duncan Peterson (Jerry), and Joyce “Sissy” Pettus (Leon); brother, Randy Duncan (Francis); mother-in-law, Hazel Hinkley; adopted brothers, Charlie and Tommy Lefew, and Jimmy Baker; adopted sister, Lisa Lefew; a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the funeral home.
