Duncan, Mozelle Dishon

Mozelle Dishon Duncan, age 85 of Snowville Community went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at her home. Born October 15, 1928 in Snowville she was the daughter of the late Roy Freeman and Dallas Phillips Dishon. Her husband; Arthur George Duncan, sisters; Helen Quesenberry, Shannon Ruth Dishon and Daughter-in-law; Sheryl Duncan also preceded her in death.

She was a long time member of the Snowville Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Secretary for many years. She retired from Snowville Elementary School with 29 years of service. She loved to crochet; many people in the community loved and received her afghans, baby blankets, caps and sweaters.

She is survived by her Sons: Jerry E. Duncan – Snowville; Harold W. Duncan – Snowville; Anthony G. “Tony” & wife, Tammie – Snowville;

Grandchildren: Brad Duncan & wife, Tara and children, Braden & Blayze– Snowville; Amber Nicole Flinchum & husband, Eric and children, Brody,Conner, Emberlyn, Corbin-Snowville, and Charity, Tanisha and Faith -Giles County; Sarah Ivy Duncan and children ,Tristen & Bailie – Radford ;

Sisters: Nancy Owens – Dublin; Joyce Cox – Snowville; Linda Boyd – Floyd; Pat Cox – Snowville

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Snowville Baptist Church with Pastor Neil Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Page Family Cemetery, Snowville. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the Bower Funeral Home-Pulaski.
