Duncan, Franklin Cecil

Franklin “Snooty” Cecil Duncan, 67, of Pulaski, VA died Sunday, October 26, 2008 in the Highland Ridge Rehab Center, Dublin. He was born in Baltimore, MD on September 18, 1941 and was the son of the late Jessie Eugene Duncan and Virgie Ellen D. Peters.

He was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Lillian Gravely, Elizabeth Williams, Suzie Duncan and Lucille Quesenberry and by 2 brothers, Marvin Duncan and James Duncan. Mr. Duncan was a retired employee of Volvo.

Surviving are his wife Anna Kiser Duncan, Pulaski; son Clarence Edward Duncan, Pulaski; daughter Rosie Wright, Dublin; stepsons Steve Harman, Pulaski; Mike Harman, Pulaski; sisters Rosie Taylor, Dublin; Ruby Thompson, Baltimore, MD; Annabel Simpkins, Pulaski, and brother Robert Duncan, Pulaski.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Pastor Billy Akers and Pastor David Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
