Duncan, Etta Edath

Etta Edath Duncan, 101, of Floyd, Va., passed away Monday, April 23, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elisha B. Duncan. Survivors include her sisters, Ollie Duncan, of Riner, Va., and Erma Gathercole, of Salem, Va.; her brother-in-law, Woody Akers, of Saratoga, Fla.; her niece, Sandra Arnold and her husband, Gary; her great-nephew, Garred Arnold, his wife, Shonnie, and their children, Collin and Hanna; and special friends, Butch and Marie Underwood and John and Beverly Martinkosky.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2007, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel in Floyd with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
