Duncan, Carolyn Davis

Carolyn Davis Duncan, 51, of Dublin, Va., died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Wytheville, Va. on June 3, 1955 and was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Hope Back. Mrs. Duncan was an employee of New River Industry and a member of Jordan’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Duncan; parents, Wayne T. Davis and Norma Terry Davis; sons, Steven M. Back, Christopher B. Back; stepson, Donald Todd Duncan; sisters, Brenda D. Akers, Sharon D. Jarrells; brother, David Davis; grandchildren, Lauren H. Back, Alexis H. Back, Brittany N. Back.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. from the Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Grimm officiating. Visiting will be held Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, however, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 554, Roanoke, Va. 24013. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
