Duncan, Barbara Miles

Barbara Agnes Duncan, 87, of Blacksburg, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, James J. and Martha V. Miles; and her daughter, Brenda Lee Duncan.

Barbara is survived by her children, Linda S. Duncan and Bentley C. Duncan (Vena); grandson, Brooks A. Duncan; siblings, James L. ‘Pete’ Miles (Mary Lou), Charles M. Miles (Barbara), and Phyllis M. Sumner (Archie); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Barbara worked in the nursing field – she loved that she was able to help people and was a real people person.

The family would like to thank the staff of Carilion Hospice. Per Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services.
