Dunbar, Marian Gaye

Marian Gaye Dunbar, 89 of Rich Creek, VA passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Heritage Hall, Rich Creek, VA. Born July 13, 1926 at Elgood, WV she was the daughter of the late Giles Allen and Leafy Jane Holdren White.

Mrs. Dunbar was a member of the Peterstown Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dunbar, two daughters, Kitty Mills and Dreama Eaton, four brothers, James, Lewis, Giles Allen Jr. and Eddie Joe White and two sisters, Dorothy Wickline and Jerri Brown.

Survivors are four grandchildren, Dina Gaye Bullins and husband Paul of Princeton, WV, Christopher Widdoes of Canton, OH, Denise Reynolds and husband Tony of Pembroke, VA and Eric Widdoes and wife Dana of Greenville, WV, two great grandchildren, Chloe and Noah Widdoes, sister, Frances Varner of Princeton, WV, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Elgood Cemetery, Elgood, WV with Danny Meadows officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, Peterstown, WV.
