Dunagan, Mary Duncan

Mary Duncan Dunagan, 56, of Pulaski, died Friday morning, August 29, 2008, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Pulaski on November 21, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Snavely Duncan. She was employed at Virginia Tech and was a member of the Heritage Assembly of God, Dublin.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years, William Dunagan; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Roy Wall Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, James and Julie Roope; step-children, Susan Edmonds, Dede Brinkley and Michael Dunagan; sister, Geneva Summers; brothers, Jimmy, Jerry and George Duncan; and grandchildren, Cheyenne Roope, Dustin Wilson, Jessica Henderson, Stephanie McKinney and Taylor Edmonds.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Church Cemetery. Visiting will be held Sunday at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
