Willard Kesley Dulaney, 91, of Floyd, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011. Born and raised in Floyd County to the late Albert Madison and Etta Mae Thompson Dulaney where he resided until his death.

He was a veteran of World War II and served during the Normandy invasion and served in France and Germany. Willard is a member of the Floyd VFW Post #7854.

Predeceased by his wife, Irene Dulaney. Survived by daughter and son- in-law, Connie and Barry Dunlap; sister and brother-in- law, Geneva and Paul Collins; special friend, Catherine (Jean) Moran; sister-in-law, Betty Nave; grandchildren, Laurie Tyrie, Charles Dunlap, Cynthia Azavedo; great- grandchildren, Lance, Bryan, Ashley, Caleb, Naomi; and nephews and nieces, Garry, Barry, Danny Collins, Brenda Cook and Cathy Burnette.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Womack officiating. Interment to follow in White Rock Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd VFW Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127. Family will receive friends 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
