Dulaney Jr., D. Dale

D. Dale Dulaney Jr., 65, formerly of Christiansburg, passed away at his home in Salem this week. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dennis and Hazel Dulaney of Alum Ridge, and a brother, Jerry Dulaney of Christiansburg.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Stephanie Dulaney, of Cooper City, Fla., and a daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Booie DeHart, of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Justin and Dylan Dulaney, and Tanner, Skyler and Bryce DeHart; also surviving are the children’s mother, Narlene Dulaney, of Christiansburg. Other survivors include his sisters, Betty (Merrill) Reed, of Marion, and Mabel (Roger) Smith, of Alum Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held with the Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. In lieu of flowers, the children of Mr. Dulaney request donations be made to the Veterans Voluntary Service, V.A. Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Va. 24153.
