Dulaney, Gerald Wayne
Gerald Wayne Dulaney, 72, of Maynard, MA died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Colley) Dulaney. Mr. Dulaney was born in Rock Island, Illinois to Hawley Clayton and Margaret Ella (McIlmoyl) Dulaney in 1941.
He grew up in Carthage, Illinois and was a graduate of Carthage College, Purdue and Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Dulaney worked over 30 years for the Digital Equipment Corporation and most recently worked for Microfinancial in Burlington. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and fishing. His favorite hobby was researching genealogy with his wife and dear friend Paul Collins of Virginia. Mr. Dulaney is survived by his wife Sandra (Colley) Dulaney, his former wife Beverly (Grant) Dulaney and his seven children: Dawn Kelley and her husband Jeff, Darci Gonzalez and her husband Javier, Michael Dulaney and his girlfriend Nancy, Andrea Eppel and her husband Michael, Theresa Sadauskas, Troy Dulaney and his wife Karyn, and Sarah Dulaney MacNeil and her husband Nicholas. He was the grandfather of Mark, Pam, Don, Josh, Helene, Eryn, Jonathan, David, Timothy and two special grandchildren Julia and Olivia. He was the proud great-grandfather of Rayden, Matthew and Kailey. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, July 24 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave. (Rte. 111) Acton. A service will conclude the visitation at 7:00pm. After the service, the family will be hosting a pot luck at the Maynard Elks Lodge, 34 Powdermill Road, Maynard. All are invited to attend.
