Highlights of Nancy’s life that brought her joy in reflection… Dumont H.S. graduate. Living in San Francisco during the 60’s with her sister Jane and friend Diane, working at U.S. News and World Report in Manhattan during the blackout of ‘65, Teaching at Lindgren School for 40 years, spending many years of her youth and retirement in the Catskill Mountains of West Saugerties/Woodstock NY, road trips, train trips, all her wonderful friends, raising a family of three children, four grandchildren, and many grand-dogs!

“Mountain Mama” was a naturalist at heart; she loved the sunshine on her face, the fresh mountain air, the ocean sand at her feet, the rustling of the leaves in the trees, swimming in the “Big Deep”, the rushing rivers that roar, and nature’s finest creatures.

Nancy was a true rolling stone and free spirit spending the last years of her life traveling from New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and California to visit her children, grandchildren, and friends! Always living in the moment, she lived life on her own terms, she had no regrets and absolutely loved her life…no exceptions.
