Dudley, Emma Sue Burke

Emma Sue Burke Dudley, 98, Died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Farmer Dudley; parents, Joseph and Agnes Burke; also preceded in death by her brother and sisters.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Emma Sue and Wilbur Simpkins; grandchildren, Whitney Simpkins Smith and her husband, Buddy, Chrisanna Simpkins Showalter and husband, Brian, Anetta Simpkins; three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Rockford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Rockford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel.
