Dudley, Elsie Reed Duncan

Elsie Reed Duncan Dudley, 89, of Dublin, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Pulaski. She was born in Floyd, VA on February 27, 1929 to the late Walter Sidney and Amanda Keith Reed. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Dudley, two brothers, Elvin and Melvin Reed; and a sister, Edna Bishop.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Linda Duncan, Steve and Barbara Duncan; two sisters, Ima Cannaday and Velma Townley; four grandchildren, Missy Hedge, Billy Duncan, Jr., Renee Duncan, Regina Dickinson; seven great grandchildren; three step daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Dudley and Jerry Cherry, Dori and Rupert Smith, Angela and Steve Helwig; step son, Darrell Dudley; seven step-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving companion, Winnie.

The family wishes to thank Dianne and Delores for their care at the end.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Snider Cemetery, Prices Fork. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until service time at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
