dudash_john_juniorJohn Junior Dudash, 66, of Christiansburg, Va., departed this life Thursday afternoon, February 17, 2011, at his home. Johnny had fought a hard battle with cancer but died at peace in the loving care of his family. He was born on August 9, 1944, in Paw Paw, Mich. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Christiansburg, for over 32 years was employed with Federal-Mogul Corporation in Christiansburg, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, John Dudash. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 45 years, Janet Collins Dudash; his mother, Aline Darling Dudash, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Michele Dudash, of Blacksburg, Robbie and Carrie Dudash, of Clayton, N.C., Chris and Bekki Dudash, of Christiansburg; his grandchildren, Victoria, Alex, Tyler, Lillie, Sam, and Carter; his brothers and sister-in-law, David Dudash, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Stephen and Janice Dudash, of Park Forest, Ill.; his special friends, Donna and Wayne Bishop; and several very special nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011, in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Christiansburg with the pastor, The Rev. Fred Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 1160 Moose Dr., NW, Christiansburg, Va. 24073 or to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1845 Cambria St., NE, Christiansburg, Va. 24073.
