Dowdy, Sidney Allen

Sidney Allen Dowdy, 81, of Blacksburg, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Dowdy; son, Larry Dowdy and wife, Shirley; daughter, Robin Dowdy Duncan; several grandchildren; four sisters; one brother.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the McCoy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends a hour before the service.
