Dowdy, Joshua Michael

Joshua Michael Dowdy, age 33, of Christiansburg died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Radford, Virginia on March 13, 1989. He is preceded in death by his sister Ashley Dowdy, Uncle Gary Dowdy, and Grandfather Bobby Dowdy.

He is survived by his mother, Sheri Leach and fiancé Dean Keith; father, Mike and step-mother, Kathy Dowdy; step-sister, Casey Keith and children, Aubrey and Wyatt, Nanny Patt; granny Irene Dowdy; step-sisters, Brandy Weseloh, and Christina Dunlap; nephews Mason, Max, and Maddox Price.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2:00p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastor John Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home prior to the service.
