Dowdy, Charles Timothy

Charles Timothy Dowdy, age 54, of Pilot died, Thursday, December 26, 2013, at his home. He was born in Montgomery Co., Va., on September 21, 1959. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Dowdy.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle A. Dowdy, parents, James Howard and Gladiolu Barker Dowdy, both of Pilot, sons and daughter-in-law, Justin Dowdy, and wife, Jessica, Matthew Dowdy, Tiler Smith, Dustin Smith, all of Pilot, brother, Craig Dowdy, of Pilot, grandchildren, Noah and Lilly Dowdy.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 2:00pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Davey Whitlock and Pastor Earl Hanks officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00pm Saturday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
