Dove, Shirley Ribble

Shirley Dove, age 81, of Blacksburg, Virginia, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at her home. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia, on April 20, 1943, to the late Edward Ribble and Juanita Hughes Davis. In addition to her parents, Shirley is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Marshall Dove, Jr.

She is survived by her children, David and Robin Dove, Karen and Kevin Sadler, and Ricky and Teresa Dove; grandchildren, Brandon (Carly) Dove, Amy (Trevor) Haupt, Jessica (Dallas) Sadler, Sarah (Jason) Sadler, and Tyler Dove; great-grandchildren, Austin, Crew, and Cayson; sister, Brenda Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Michael Pugh officiating.
