Doss Jr., Leslie Ward (Bud)

Leslie Ward (Bud) Doss Jr., 75, of Blacksburg, died on Monday, November 21, 2011, at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery. He was born on October 27, 1936, to the late Leslie Ward Doss Sr. and Paulene Frazier Doss. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betsy Elane Doss; stepmother, Virginia B. Doss; two sisters, Charlsie Dowell and Josephine Bailey; sisters-in-law and brother- in-law, Mary Nolen Bishop, and Ethel Nolen and Gale Nolen. He is survived by his wife, Dorothena Nolen Doss, of Blacksburg; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bob Gilmer, of Bristol; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Margaret and Carl Simmons, of Maryland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alvin and Dollie Nolen, of Pearisburg, Clarence and Viola Nolen, of Radford, and Leeroy Nolen, of Blacksburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2011, in the Westview Cemetery with the Pastor David Ansley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, November 24, 2011, at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
