Donlon, Edward James

Edward James Donlon departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father, October 13, 2020 in the care of Hospice. Born in Newark, New Jersey on April 18, 1936, he was a son of the late Edward and Ann Smith Donlon.

Edward gave of his life while serving the US. Army. He also served in the transportation industry.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward James Donlon Jr.; a brother, Joseph Donlon; and sister-in-law, Henrietta Donlon.

Left to cherish his memory are his sweetheart of 35 years, Mary Rose Timmons; a brother, Thomas Donlon of New Jersey; nieces, Bonnie and Kelly; and nephews, Kevin and Thomas.

There will be a private memorial service held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Arlington, New Jersey at a later date. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to be serving the Donlon Family.
