Dorothy Anne Murphy Donithan, age 82 of Pulaski passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born July 24, 1930 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edgar Murphy and Stella Blanche Farmer Murphy.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vance Elmo Donithan, two sons, David Reed Donithan and Robert Wayne Donithan and many sisters and brothers.

She was a long time member of the First Church of the Brethren. A special “ thank you” to her Brother and Sister-in-law, Frank and Evelyn Murphy for their support through the years & always being there for her.

Surviving- Children Gary Donithan and wife, Mary-Utah, Brenda Donithan and Jimbo-Saltville, Linda Simpson and husband, Richard-Radford, Debra Odell-Lexington. Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters-in-law- Frank and Evelyn Murphy-Manassas Park. Rudolph and Janie Murphy- Vinton, Tommy and Nancy Murphy-Roanoke. Sister and Brother-in-law- Connie and Allen Thornton- Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m., March 28, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Frank Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at Bower Funeral Home.
