Dodgion, Annie Lafon

Annie Lafon Dodgion, 76, of Pulaski, died Monday morning, June 9, 2008, at her home. She was born in Newport, Va., on November 11, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Wilber Watson Lafon and Lillie Florence Elmore Lafon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Howard Dodgion, and a brother, Watson Louis Lafon.

She was a retired nurse.

Surviving are three stepchildren, Edward Lee Dodgion, Winifred Marie Dodgion and Donald Phillip Dodgion; brother and sister in-law, Wilber Wade and Pearl Lafon; and two nephews, Charles Wilber Lafon and Nelson Wade Lafon.

Mrs. Dodgion will be cremated. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Alley officiating.

Visiting will be held on Thursday evening, June 12, 2008, from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
