Dobbins, Archie Thomas

Archie Thomas “Tommy” Dobbins, 77, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Skyline Manor in Floyd. He was a retired contractor and a U. S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Hamilton and Mary Patient Dobbins.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dixie Phillips Dobbins of Radford; daughter, Kathy Marie Dobbins of Floyd; sons, Jeffrey Dobbins and Tammy Baines, and Brian Keith (Jessica) Dobbins, all of Radford; grandchildren, Christina, Matthew and Libby, Tiffany and Briana; great grandson, Jace: sisters, Brenda Naff of Pilot, and Geneva (Calvin) Duncan of Montgomery Co.; special friends, Kimmy cox, Roger Walters and Charlie LeFew; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
