Dingus, Michael Lee

Michael Lee Dingus, 38, of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis Dingus.

Michael is survived by his mom, Kathy Dingus; sister, Tammy Brown; niece, Leah Sumner; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael attended Auburn High School and obtained an associate Degree in Information Systems Technology from NRCC. He loved his family very much, and dearly loved his niece, Leah. Michael worked 9 years at H.H. Hunt in Blacksburg and thought a lot of all his co-workers and enjoyed working with them. He also volunteered at the Montgomery County Christmas Store. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 1-3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will commence at 3 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Michael Vest officiating. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
