Dingus, Mary Elizabeth Mullins

Mary Elizabeth Mullins Dingus, 82, of Radford, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Radford Health and Rehab. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Grace E. Sturgill Mullins; and also by her husband Earl Lee Dingus. She was a retired employee of Klopman Mills. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis L. and Kathy Dingus, of Riner; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Walter Gallimore, of Radford, Patricia L. Thomas, Tarpon Springs, of Florida, Earlene and Eddie Akers, of Riner, and Johnnie and Robert Lytton, of Christiansburg; two brothers, David Mullins, of Indiana and Chris Mullins, of Big Stone Gap; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Robert Marshall, of Norton and Carroll and Bill Miracle, of Tennessee; brother-in-law and spouse, John Allen and Mary Dingus, of Missouri, 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford, with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society .
